Terms of the hold

What the hold is

Rivine is building a house in Austin, Texas for capital and the companies it backs. When you sign the founding letter at rivine.co/letter, you can pay $10 to hold a seat at the Capital table or your team's founding rate.

The hold is a refundable deposit. It is not a membership, a lease, a license to use any space, or a purchase of anything else. It does not commit you to anything, and it does not commit Rivine to opening by any date or at any address.

What it holds

• When Rivine announces its rates, people with a paid hold are offered the founding rate for their floor before anyone else.
• Capital holds also come with a standing invitation to the Capital Dinner, as seats allow.
• If you become a member, Rivine may credit the $10 toward your first payment.

Refunds

You can have your $10 back at any time, for any reason, before or after Rivine opens. Reply to your receipt or write to logan@rivine.co, and we refund it to the card or wallet you paid with, usually within 5 business days; your bank may take a few more days to show it.

If Rivine doesn't open, every hold is refunded without anyone having to ask.

Payment

The hold is charged once, in US dollars, and never renews. Stripe processes the payment; Rivine never sees your card number. See rivine.co/privacy for what we keep.

Changes

If these terms change, we will post the new version here with a new effective date. A change never takes away your right to a refund.
