Rivine

Privacy

Effective October 22, 2026

Who we are

Rivine is building a membership for private team rooms, starting in Austin, Texas. This policy covers rivine.co and the founding letter you can sign there. Questions go to Logan Bell at logan@rivine.co.

What we collect

If you signed the earlier founding letter at rivine.co/letter before October 22, 2026, we collected:

  • Your name, work email, title and company, and your phone number if you give it.
  • Your answers: team size, flex or private office, the days you expect to come in, the term, and whether we may name you to landlords.
  • The name you type as your signature, and the date and time you signed.
  • Your IP address and browser details, so there is a record that the letter was signed electronically, and by whom.

When you sign the founding letter at rivine.co/letter today, we collect your email, and depending on the floor you choose: your name, your firm or family office and the kind of capital you are; or your name, your company and what it does, a link, your team size and who has backed you. We also keep which you chose, the waitlist or a $10 hold, and your IP address and browser details.

If you pay the $10 refundable hold, Stripe processes the payment. Your card or wallet details go to Stripe, not to us; we receive the payment's status, the amount, and the email and name you gave Stripe. Stripe's own privacy policy, at stripe.com/privacy, covers what it keeps.

If you email us, we keep what you send.

If you join the referral program at rivine.co/refer, we collect your name and email, and the name, email and company of anyone you ask us to introduce. We email them once, from logan@rivine.co, with you copied.

We don't use cookies for visitors, and we don't run advertising trackers. We count visits without cookies: Vercel Web Analytics records page views without identifying you, and a random visit number kept in your browser tab, and deleted when it closes, records how far through the founding letter a visit got and which link it came from. While you fill in the letter, your answers are kept in your browser tab so a refresh doesn't lose them. They are cleared when you sign or close the tab. If you arrive through someone's referral link, your browser remembers that link's code for 90 days so the referral can be credited; it is sent to us only if you sign a founding letter. Our host keeps standard server logs, which include IP addresses.

How we use it

  • To record your letter and send you a signed copy.
  • To stay in touch about Rivine, including the address and opening date, and an optional deposit if you want to reserve a room.
  • To take, record and refund the $10 hold, and to invite Capital members to the Capital Dinner.
  • To keep a record of each signup in our own contact list, so we know who has asked for what.
  • To write to you about your own signup, for example when founding rates open. Occasional news about Rivine goes only to people who ticked the box asking for it, and every update has a way to unsubscribe.
  • To show prospective landlords that there is demand for the space. We share your letter with or without your name, as you chose when you signed.

Who sees it

Prospective landlords, as described above. And the companies that run the site for us, who handle your information only to provide their service: Vercel (hosting), Neon (database), Resend (sending email), Stripe (payments) and Google Workspace (our inbox).

We don't sell or rent personal information, and we don't share it for advertising.

How long we keep it

For as long as your founding letter or a membership is active, or until you ask us to delete it. Payment records are kept as long as tax and accounting rules require, even after a refund.

Your choices

You can withdraw your letter, or ask for your $10 hold back, at any time by replying to the email it came with. The hold's terms are at rivine.co/terms. You can also ask to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you by writing to logan@rivine.co. We will answer within 45 days.

We don't track you across other websites, so there is nothing for a browser's Do Not Track setting to switch off.

Keeping it safe

The site is served over HTTPS, and only Rivine can see signed letters. No system is perfectly secure, but we limit what we collect to what the letter needs.

Children

Rivine is for businesses and the people who work at them. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

Changes

If this policy changes, we will post the new version here with a new effective date.
